ПЕРЛАМУТР В ДЕКОРАТИВНОМ ИСКУССТВЕ
Перламутр с древних времен используется мастерами - ювелирами для инкрустирования предметов повседневного быта, и широко применяется при изготовления перламутровой мозаики как самостоятельный материал, так и в сочетании с разными камнями. Перламутр, это внутренний слой раковин морских и пресноводных моллюсков. Этот прочный материал, который свободно можно найти на берегу моря или реки, имеет два очень важных для мозаики свойства: цвет перламутра и его интенсивность.
